Arriving in Phnom Penh

Very long days are always the start of a decent holiday – am just so grateful that it wasn’t any longer!! We woke at 4:30am at the Mercure Airport Hotel, Sydney, glad that we weren’t embarking from home in the Blue Mountains, and went to bed 21 hours later – 2 plane trips, 5 meals, 1 jaguar transfer, 2 massages and half a bottle of prosecco later (too tired to manage the whole thing!!), we fell into our oh so comfy bed that was draped in muslin, completing our transport back in time to our own French colonial villa, in our room with it’s private garden and pool.
